Forum : eXV2 Installation

Titel : Fresh install - But no blocks will show - Only in phpmyadmin

johno123 : 19.08.2009 06:21  Hello, i hope this is ok in english, but is the only language i know. When i install new module into exv2. That has blocks included with it. Like mydownloads, or forum. The only blocks that ever show are the ones that came preloaded with a new install of exv2. newest version. I went into phpmyadmin and saw that there are many blocks listed in the exv2_newblocks table. Which is wierd, considering the only ones that are visible to turn on or off in the blocks admin, are the ones that came preinstalled with a fresh new install of exv2.. i am quite familiar with exoops/runcms but not so much with this one "exv2". Which by the way it is great! I love the new mydownloads module, especially the aspect of anonymous being able to view but not access unless they belong to a specifc group. As determined by the administrators. I wish this version of mydownloads worked in other cms's. Am i missing something simple i am just not seeing? Anyone able to help? www.mitangeln.de : 07.10.2009 22:33  Try to set "Visible" to "No" in the top of the blockadministration and than klick on refresh. Now You see all invisible Blocks. Choose a block to configure and set it to visible and set the permission rights for the Groups etc. I hope that solves Your problem. sorry for bad english
